Two young entrepreneurs approached me with an idea for a new retail business and I designed this logo based on their names and nicknames for each other. I have always liked this project.

I was approached by a couple (an English major and a computer engineer) who wanted to develop an app that could adapt to a user’s feelings and respond with suggestions for inspirational and supportive literary readings. They wanted the app to be personal and provide the sort of feedback that a friend or mentor would.

This branding project included the development of a logo, business stationary products and cards, clothing tags, stickers, packaging, etc. for a new children’s boutique in Durham, NC. I designed the clothes hanger to represent the parent, wrapping arms lovingly around his/her young brood.

I think this was the most challenging project I ever did! :)
And sadly, the digital world being what it is, I don’t need a lot of letterhead after all! That said, 15 years later, I still love using the square embossed notecard and my business card.
