





















This piece is used at international college fairs as a take-away for students interested in Duke Kunshan University. The goal was to prompt students to familiarize themselves with the merits of the Duke Kunshan program and, ultimately, apply.

This piece was produced to entice a broader range of undergraduates to consider Statistical Science as a major.

When the Nicholas Institute was first introduced at Duke the leadership needed to initiate partnerships with outside collaborators and make political connections. in advocating for the environment, they wanted to promote faculty expertise and leverage the significant academic resources available at Duke. I developed the editorial concept (The solutions are out there… if we ask…etc.) and designed this system to package their partnership proposals. The package included a pocket folder that could serve as a file folder over time and a proposal cover for the Institute’s customized proposals.

Using images from Pratt’s ongoing research projects, I designed this collage to identify materials highlighting new professorships awarded to Pratt’s expanding faculty. The art was used on the cover of a small pocket folder holding inserts specifying professorship sponsors, faculty awardees, and their relevant research priorities.

This direct mail piece was sent to alums and friends of the Pratt School of Engineering to announce the hiring of five new faculty. Each new faculty member was bringing expertise that would significantly broaden the school’s academic offerings and in doing so, was an example of how the school was focused on “Engineering Change.”

This conference program was circulated to those attending the Grand Challenges Engineering Conference sponsored by the Pratt School of Engineering. Pratt’s dean wanted to encourage all attendees and Pratt students to engage in Duke academic programs tailored to the NAE’s Grand Challenges research areas. A secondary goal was to pair Pratt students interested in these research areas with mentors in the relevant fields.

These annual publications each served as a general overview of the research ongoing at Pratt. They reported on new faculty hires, new areas of research interest, and the ever-expanding research facilities at Duke.

Carpi International asked me to develop a brochure that would serve to walk potential clients through their product offerings. The goal was to produce a clear and efficient leave-behind piece, while also enabling the sales force to conduct an informative face-to-face explanation of Carpi’s capabilities.

Architectural renderings were used in this fundraising piece to draw attention to the potential for academic programming expansion in a new research and education building at Pratt.

When North Carolina State University expanded their campus facilities to include two new engineering buildings, I worked with Craig Davis Properties to develop a marketing brochure to highlight the new facility.
